Procedures
The research study will conduct the study using questionnaires on the officials of the corporate governance and the team of agent-principal together with some employees during the occurrence of the financial crisis. The population that the researcher intends to use is sizeable and therefore qualitative methodology would be used to research extensively into the issue of interest. The steps that will be used in conducting the research will entail; all the respondents that will fill in the questionnaires must either come from the corporate governance or agent-principal and must have worked in the organization for the period of 2007 and 2009 (Kentikelenis, 2014). Secondly, all of the respondents must come from the offices that have a connection of dealing with the finance. That is, they are in a position to give the occurrences that happened during the crisis in black and white. Third, all the respondents must first agree that they are willing and able to participate in filling the questionnaires so as to to reveal the hidden truths behind the 2007-09 financial crises. To have the evidence of the study, the researcher wishes to use written survey. Therefore, the researcher will print out the questionnaire spreadsheets with the information to be filed and then submit the sheets to the relevant people within three days. The survey will be of the essence as it will help in gaining valuable insights into the research question that will in turn help to gauge some of the facts behind the financial crisis that was experienced. Not forgetting, the researcher will only concentrate on corporate governance and the gent-principal and not any other body that might have participated in the financial crisis (Kuppuswamy, 2015). To make the research more comprehensive, the researcher giving the top officials in the corporate governance and the agent-principal some specific questionnaire forms to ascertain some hypothesis before releasing the questionnaire sheets to the respondents (Aebi,2012). Finally, the researcher is keen about ensuring that the study has prescribed to the standard ethics such as consent explicitly clearing stating the research question, seeking the relevant research permits as well as the confidentiality that will be assured to the respondents that their views will remain as a subject in the study and also make them understand the risks and benefits that may get when they participate in the research.
Data analysis
Data analysis will squarely deal with the results about the research question of the findings from the corporate governance and agent-principal about the financial crisis. The findings from the study shall then be collected, grouped and then compared to gauge the relation between the findings and the hypothesis that existed (Wang, 2014). The role that was played by corporate governance and agent-principal in the financial crisis would then be concluded from the information that shall have been analyzed. The arguments that will be presented by most of the respondents will be perceived as the roles that were played by the two bodies in the financial crisis.
Limitations of the study
The study is not expected to undergo a smooth course as there are some challenges that are expected. Bureaucratic procedures are expected. They are always challenging and tiresome. Another area that might also pose a challenge is the actual study where some of the planned respondents may get committed during the time of the study.
