This is seen by the deaths reported in the areas, whereby 72% of the deaths from the virus in Georgia, and 35% of those in the UK were black, showing what the disparities in the political representation have in the formulation of policies, which in turn lead to the predisposition of the African Americans to the virus (Ro, 1).

Mexico

According to BBC (1), the tables may have turned in the issue of the Mexico-US border. Whereas the past saw the United States suggesting the need to set up a wall to prevent the Mexicans from crossing into the US. Currently, there are cases of Americans intending to cross into Mexico to escape from the Corona pandemic in their country. However, as if in revenge, the Mexican authorities are turning away the Americans, even if they test negative of the virus

China

Financial Times (1) warns that the ongoing economic wars between China and the US could spill over from economic ones into political ones. The economic implications of the trade wars may result in the nations deciding to undertake armed responses to the economic war, hence creating political problems from the financial issues.

Japan

Japan ranks among the top 10 worst performers when it comes to women empowerment and inclusion, and the political sector shows the extent of the problem. WEF (1) explains that the gap in disparities in political participation and representation needs to be closed and suggests that if Japan follows the procedures they recommend, they would be on the pathway to ensuring gender balance in the political scene of the nation.

The Middle East

While the US military has been in the Middle East for close to four decades and the existence of the US troops in the region has made the countries in the region to overlook the need for stabilizing their nations and the region at large (Goudsouzian, 1). However, the governments need to find ways to stabilize and enjoy the economic, social, and political prosperity that other regions get to experience due to political stability.

Muslim American Issues

Muslim Americans claim to be targeted by the American authorities over the assumption that they are likely to be terrorists (CGTN, 1). Therefore, Muslim Americans are subjected to extra checks in security checks, which shows the disparities in political privilege in the nation.

Russia

Amid the Corona Virus pandemic, Russia has undertaken a peculiar political strategy, whereby they are providing aid to African countries, thereby creating political alliances to help them achieve the international political ambitions that Russia holds (Klomegah, 1). The support that Russia is extending to the nations is also assisting the countries that are politically left out to gain ground and attempt to catch up with the rest of the world.

Gender Issues

Zarnow (1) points out that while society has sidelined women in matters politics and the ability to have a say in the critical issues relating to politics and decision-making in the same community, the activities which women assume will lead to their liberation and being regarded as equals in the political scene such as the Miss World competitions are not sufficient in providing the required speed through which they should be catching up with their male counterparts in politics.

Social Welfare Issues

The onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic has led to the realization of more funding for social welfare. While in the past social welfare was seen to be for the poor and vulnerable, but with the virus causing people to be laid off from work and the economy performing poorly, people are signing up for welfare cheques, meaning that the funds allocated previously are diminishing quickly, and the future allocations need to provide wiggle room for the possibility of pandemics and how the society will be taken care of (Peebles, 1)
