With the increase, of mobile and computer technology, we are able to link communications with our friends who are far away from us.

Technological modifications have had different positive effects globally over the years. To start with, in the business sector, it has been the widely affected area by technology. With the diverse urge of trade, business transactions these days are more exciting and much faster connecting buyers and sellers globally (Biesta, 31). Technology has also impacted on healthcare of human beings. Organs transplant have also been made efficient through the invention of better equipment for surgeries and operations. In education sectors, it is clear that internet has become valuable in research subjects, sectors and other studies of all levels. In warfare to be precise, the advancement of military power through inventions of more sophisticated weapons and security personnel has been brought by modernized technology. The invention of guns, warships, and other amours in the 19th centuries shed more light on the warfare history. Scientific technology has however favored the inventions of biological weapons in developed countries like the US, Northern Korea, and other superpower countries (Apampa et al. 56).

On the other hand, problems increase with the improvement of modern technology. In communication, majorly in social networking scientific technology has created a rivalry between families and to some extent lead to divorce. The misuses of the internet by young generations have led to deteriorating moral behavior. This is due to the invention of modern computers, phones, and the creation of websites where these contents are fed. The rise of machinery industry has caused health problems to their workers and creating environmental threats. In transport industry emission of carbon (IV) oxide from moving and working machinery had led to the destruction of Ozone layer weakening it from ultraviolet ray's protection.

The invention of fertilizers used to boost farm products have caused natural soil infertility with several plants becoming instinct over the years. The industrial chemicals released to water sources has polluted both water and seafood such that they are unsafe for consumption.

During the Gilded age period, people made tremendous strides in wealth creation through, though it was for the small population many were languishing in abject poverty. Many people have a conviction that the progression of scientific technology and related possibilities have to direct its focus to humanity. However, other people have different conviction about it, they believe that technology offers convenience, but also donates profoundly to air pollution, can cause mental dependence among users, and are not worth executing in the long run.

The magnitude of unemployment today is as a result of modern technology. The invention of robots which provide an alternative to labor has reduced the need for manpower. The robots, however, are able to perform lump sum of work more than human beings and are also to work for many hours. Another ultimate negative result of the modern scientific technology is the child labor and woman abuse in industrial employment. Such cases are prevalent in mines and factories where minerals are extracted.

Conclusion

Modern technology is a double-edged knife with two phases. It is clear there is the positive phase which has highly impacted the human life and the negative phase that has taken a course with the change in technology. The exploitation of natural resources in the name of technology growth should be avoided. The use of technology takes a course on how we use it toward the environment and the people in the surrounding. Over the years, technology continues to push education, scientific study to a new level. From craving figure to today, technology has had vast changes from all corners causing negative and positive effects on human beings. However, technology has developed to overcome specific problems in many fields. The development of technologies should have positive effects in any sector and not negative effects on either the presence of the future generation.
