Material and Methodology

This research will use secondary sources as the source of the raw data to be used in the immigration policy analysis. The tool that will be used in the analysis of the secondary sources is the sampling survey. This method entails selecting various elements from the targeted population to be used in conducting the survey. The sampling survey technique utilizes questionnaires administered to the study sample to determine the characteristics and attitudes of the people. There are different ways used in contacting the participants of a sample after they have been chosen through the subject of survey data collection. The sampling survey aims to decrease the costs and the work it would have taken to survey the entire target population.

To conduct this research, a sample of 2000 households from the American voters will be used to survey interviews through the administration of questionnaires. The sampling survey will produce a good idea for the data and information that will be appropriate in analyzing the American people's opinion on the immigration policy that has become the center of American politics. The target population is about 60,000 households in the entire American voting population; hence the small sample size chosen (n=2000) will be valid and suitable to represent the target population in the study. The sample that has been chosen will give a proper indication of the statistical analysis of the immigration policies hence determining the views and opinions of the American voters on this weighty matter. The interviews for this study will involve questionnaires that will comprise questions that are based on native/foreign-born as well as parental inactivity of the policies that have been set by the Trump administration and the changes that are being advocated for by the Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Data Analysis and Interpretation

Once the data is collected, it will be presented in the most visual ways, including tables, graphs, and diagrams, be easy to analyze and interpret for current and future use. This section involves the presentation of data that has been collected from the current survey population. As stated earlier, data presentation and statistical facts will be analyzed to answer the research question of the study. The qualitative method will be suitable for this survey since it is convenient for statistical data analysis since immigration can be best measured as an activity instead of a procedure.
