As a broad topic, sociology intrigues so many factors; because it covers our environmental life as human beings, starting with how we relate to one another. As we go further, we discuss the topic of diversity and social justice under sociology. Social justice, also referred to as equitability, provides answers to how people from different backgrounds and perspectives come together and understand one another. Besides, the human relationship relies on the ability to understand others with no criticism. Social justice, however, has multiple issues that include race, gender, age, and religion, among others. There are various assumptions made under sociology; human nature as an example. Social theory on the human soul depends on an individual’s feelings or behavior; it may hate towards a specific gender or race.Protests on black lives matter by Latinos serves as an example of the social justice issues the human beings face ( Jennifer,2020). The people in charge of ensuring people’s safety and well-being provide comfort to the people. Conversely, according to Jennifer, Latinos do not experience this; in return, they lose lives while others left nursing their injuries because of over-policing. Social behavior, in this case, is taken for granted all because of race. There are diverse groups of people, but the human rights act remains the same for all, regardless of gender, age, or race. Black or white has always been the term and brown to some extent, such as Latinos in democratic matters; activists put their life on the line with an urge to bring about the political change needed. Fear has been the people’s everyday experience as they fight for their rights. ‘people of color’ is their name that comes with all forms of injustices such as killings. Social theory on human nature is observed from the harsh treatment Latinos receive; as an act of hatred. Diversity on social justice provides room for human rights practitioners to understand the importance of uniting people. Is gender or racial preferences a crucial factor in ensuring peace? Gender or racial biases is a vital factor in providing a cohesive environment. Social theory impacts the safety and understanding of the human being. Peace and unity depend on similar enactment of human rights, either rich or poor, black or white, and young or old. Biases have only brought rage and fear among people, fear of losing family in a call of war, fear of fighting the leaders in defending the rights, and fear of not getting essential needs based on color or gender. Are there extents to which race is defined is a common question asked. Racism is defined as discrimination against color; otherwise, it is stated as a measure of how white or black you appear and not the primarily white, black color. Social behavior portrayed is unpleasant and meant to cause disunity.
Efforts to curb racism are diverse; they include providing leadership positions to people of all races. Providing equal job opportunities also serves to curb discrimination and harsh measures on those who fail to adhere to the act of human rights on equality. Racism fought for many years, bore fruits of their labor to some; others, it was a waste of their time and resources since it is a dictatorship ruling. The Racism battle deserves victory for others’ well-being, and all measures to be taken end it. For social interactions, there is a need to increase social gatherings and organizations based on bringing people together. It will ensure individuals learn about each other as well as appreciate each other.
In summary, sociology is a social relationship among people. It relates to diversity on social justice to understand human relations; the text shows an example of Latinos fight on black lives matter that proves to cause misery. Racism is a war that has been fought for many years with various questions raised, such as curb measures, to increase winning chances. Sociology is, therefore, a pivotal in curbing social injustices.
