The Burgeoning bourgeoisie is a special report compiled in 2009 and explains more about the new middle-classes that started emerging in the modern markets. Moreover, in this section of the report, there are other articles such as "Who's in the middle?," " Beyond Wisteria Lane," "What do you think?," "Notions of shopkeepers," "The other Moore's law," and the "Suspended animation" (Parker, 2009). These articles are linked in one way or the other by a shared goal or objective of analyzing the rising trend of middle-class for the first time ever, which is attributed to the rapid growth on the side of emerging countries. Thus, this paper analyses one article at a time and their shared agenda and then identifies the message being relayed for potential users.

The first article, "Who's in the middle?" provides the definition the term middle-class. This article states that the word can be defined in two different ways: in absolute and relative terms. However, in relative terms, middle class refers to the range of middle income of each nation while in absolute terms, the terms means the use of a fixed band for every nation (Parker, 2009). The second article is " Beyond Wisteria Lane." This article explains that Scott Fitzgerald, in an earlier report, was wrong by stating that the rich are the ones who are different when middle-classes is distinct class (Parker, 2009). The article establishes that the first rapid growth of the middle class occurred in 1960's and happened behind very high tariff barriers.

The third article, "What do you think?" which is an exceptional poll that was conducted on the attitudes of the middle-class attitudes. The article states that the differences between the attitudes from different countries could be huge. However, the differences of middle-class run typically in the same or one direction. The middle-class people, in large numbers, see the importance of competitive elections, show more concern to global warming but are less religious compared to the poor (Parker, 2009). However, middle-class shows a big difference in "life satisfaction."

The fourth article is "Notions of shopkeepers" this article explains why countries with new middle-classes have been experiencing benefits and why they are so good in those nations' economies. However, at first gesticulation, middle-class expansion seemed to be caused by a change somewhere else and "not a cause of anything in its own right" (Parker, 2009). Nevertheless, reasons include avid consumers, in that, this class consumes a lot. Secondly, middle-class is made up of keen investors because it is more committed to competitive economy than the elite are. The middle-class also creates human capital as they are more committed to education that creases expertise needed in the market. Lastly, middle-class is made up of natural entrepreneurs and contributes a lot to the growth of the economy with this gift.

The fifth chapter is "The other Moore's law" which states that Barrington Moore could be passing a strong point when he stated that "No bourgeoisie, no democracy." This chapter explains the role of middle-class in realizing ad-defending democracy. First, middle-class as the aspect of "mutual infiltration," (Parker, 2009).This phrase states that the role of the middle-class in politics is heterogeneity. This class of people has a wider range of interests compared to the rich and the poor and includes people from very many occupations. This means that the middle-class is driven by many concerns. This class of people forms a strong "force of moderation," (Parker, 2009).

The last chapter is "Suspended animation." This chapter concludes that recession would have brought suspended the growth of middle-class for some time. Thus, if it is may be a recession for a few years, it is reasonable to say that the middle-class growth will start humming again, from where it stopped. The individuals in that class will have some more levels of the Maslow's pyramid they will have to climb (Parker, 2009). Members of this class will have time to change some more political systems. The middle-class will generally have another step waiting for them to pursue in their way to becoming a global middle-class. However, the article stressed that a halt is inevitable.

According to this reported, middle-class is very important in the growth of a countries economy. Middle-class provides consumers for produced goods, serious and committed investors in large numbers, human capital from their efforts in education investments, and their natural entrepreneurship gifts or skills. This report has the message that the middle-class has many differences than the rich and even the poor. They are different and it is this trait that explains their role in democracy and politics. Middle-class plays a big role in influencing politics. People in this class simply have different interest given that they come from different environments (occupations). The group is driven by concerns from many different members.

For a business professional, the message is that middle-class is very important to the economy in which we operate. We get very many benefits from them including human resource capital, customers for our products or services, investors who we can form partnerships with or entrepreneurs who have vast ideas that can move our business to the next level through their creativity and innovation skills (Dholakia, Dholakia, & Chattopadhyay, 2017). This report also explains the importance of middle-class in politics that influences economic policies that influence us as business professionals. From this point, we understand that as business professionals, we need to monitor the trend in the middle-class group. We ought to be aware of what might transpire in the meantime because of action by this class of people.

One clear point is that the middle-class is the one that is different and not the rich. Middle-class comprises of the majority of people (Parker, 2009). This means that it attracts people from all corners of the world and from different lifestyles, including occupation. People in this class have different aspirations, including several or few levels of Maslow's pyramid to climb, depending on various factors such as earnings and aspirations (Dholakia, Dholakia, & Chattopadhyay, 2017). On the other hand, the noble class is made up of a few individuals with "almost" shared ambitions. These people have attained most of the part of the Maslow's pyramid. They have few ambitions and thus, they are relatively less different.

In conclusion, the middle-class has experienced a very crucial growth and there is no way back. This class of people is more different compared to the rich because of their aspirations and their numbers. The differences of middle-class run typically in the same direction. Middle-class is very important to the economy as it provides capital, investors, customers, and entrepreneurs. This class is also important in the way it influences politics. Although the group may look insignificant in its role towards democracy and politics, it is not the case. The aspect of heterogeneity in their influence is caused by differences in interests, but it is still crucial. Lastly, although the global recession could have put a halt in the growth of this class, it could have resumed if the recession was not going to take long and affect it more. The group has a lot to achieve too.
