This is an educational site that offers summaries on different books and works of literature. This text explains on the freedom that is achieved after someone has been oppressed. The author uses Nora to portray how independence is achieved. She receives her inner freedom which leads to her physical freedom. She discovers that she has no identity away from that of her husband this motivates her to look for her freedom. The text also shows how Nora receives freedom from her immature way of reasoning when she agrees that her husband has shortcomings and it's upon her to arise and take part in her personal development. This text, therefore, gives a clear description of how freedom looks like and how it should be attained. In my study of the text, they are no grammatical errors, and the sentences are written simply so that all readers can understand. This journal provides insight of how the author has brought out the issue of feminism in the selection of the theme of oppression. In this analysis, the author uses the feminism theory to depict the social expectation on each gender. The author looks at the advantages and the disadvantages of different role male and female receive in the text A Doll House. The society in the text is patriarch in nature. According to this analysis, women are entirely responsible for the upbringing of their children and not their fathers. According to Torvald it solely the responsibility of a woman to be a good wife and she is responsible for the morality of her children. In the text, Nora faces different challenges because she is female. Though she has better decision-making skills, she hardly receives recognition for it. Men refuse to sacrifice their integrity while women are expected to. Mrs.Linde leaves her lover Krogstad for a richer man as a sign of sacrifice for her mother and brother. The text goes further to show how women inability to borrow lone without her husband's permission is oppression to the female gender. The writing is detailed on women oppression and offers detailed examples in expounding on the theme of oppression and freedom.
