Finally, this study provided an opportunity to evaluate the perspective in which UK has taken its economy through multiple sets of engagements. In particular, the study identified education level of parents as one of the main aspects associated with the performance of children in UK. Nevertheless, UK has been considered to have a very constant social mobility in the sense the gap between the upper class and the lower class is immense. The integration between access to education by the rich children and poor children is generally poor in the country. For instance, only about 7% of the country’s schools are privately owned with high quality facilities. Subsequently, this study concludes that the comparison between countries on matter of social mobility is very complex. While UK has a slow social mobility, other countries such as Canada and Sweden are credited with considerably high social mobility which is an important ingredient of growth and equitable society.

In order to enhance the social mobility of the country, UK should invest in equitable distribution of resources as well as the development of equal opportunities for all. For instance, the country should enhance access to quality education for both the poor and the rich. To close the gap between poor children and their counterparts, rich ones, the country should invests in equitable share of resources and the education facilities in particular. Besides, the country should make policy interventions such as insuring that all individuals have equal opportunities to employment regardless of their backgrounds. This aspect would help in closing the gap between rich children and their poor counterparts. Besides, public resources should also be distributed equally across the country through legislative intervention. Through increased social mobility, UK will be able to tap all the talents within its borders besides reducing its relatively high dependency rate. Furthermore, once the country achieves economy equality, it will be able to manipulate its economic resources including human capital.
