A nursing administrator knows and implements nursing procedures in a health care facility. According to McCormick and Saba (2015), they mostly manage nurses' teams who work on the frontline interacting with patients at the facility. For one to practice as a professional nurse, they need a current license whose minimal requirements is a regular fee, current address, and notification of any criminal convictions (Park, 2015). There are also numerous professional associations that make recommendations for safe and effective practice, which include Joint Commission, American Nurses Association, Institute of Medicine, and The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (Yeun, 2015).

Role of Advanced Nurse in Positively Influencing Health Care System

Potter, Perry, Stockert, and Hall (2016) noted that nurses provide primary, acute, and individual health care through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of the illness or the injuries, these are their leading roles while at the health care facility. With these services, the health care systems benefit a lot, and therefore this is a significant favorable influence to the system since nurses improve the running and efficiency of the health care facilities by providing these services (Potter et al., 2016).

Certified Nurse - Midwives provide primary gynecological and reproductive health care. These help expectant mums and patients with reproductive problems understand themselves even more. Besides, the nurses also get to understand their patients well, and the service results, therefore, become almost to perfection (McCormick, & Saba, 2015).

According to Tyczkowski, Vandenhouten, Reilly, Bansal, Kubsch, and Jakkola (2015), Certified Nurse Aesthetics provide full range anesthesia and pain management services to patients with anesthesia, and therefore these patients can be able to handle themselves in the event of the nurses missing and also provides some moral support to the patients (Potter et al., 2016). With these satisfying services, the patients end up recommending others to these facilities, and therefore, the health care facilities benefit more (Tyczkowski et al., 2015).

Clinical Nurses specialists provide diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients, providing experts and support to nurses caring for patients, help drive practice changes throughout the organization and ensure use of best practices and evidence-based care to achieve best possible patient outcomes (Yeun, 2015).

Current Scope in Nursing Administration

First, the current scope in nursing administration includes informatics and related technological roles (Park, 2015). According to Yeun (2015), this is where the design and implementation of complex documentation and monitoring systems are involved and requires computer specialists or nurse informatics to ensure bridging of disciplines, and intended goals are met effectively and efficiently (Potter et al., 2016).

Another one is cultural competence (McCormick & Saba, 2015). Health care professionals are to meet the educational and social needs of the patients through addressing patients with respect, and this includes using last names or inquiring to know how they wish to be treated, never making assumptions on cultural beliefs and learning more about the changing cultural demographics (Park, 2015). A professional nurse should learn to develop a healthy relationship with colleagues and patients as this might be used later for solution finding in case a need arises in the future (McCormick, & Saba, 2015).

Technological advancements and increased number of software, hardware, and medical devices like 3-D printing, which involves 3-D structures created with the bio-ink containing living cells which are used to develop human tissue (McCormick, & Saba, 2015). This area requires nurses with a more educational experience and the best in understanding the patients better. Another technology is the Less-invasive testing, which is also an emerging trend since bold tests and scanning technology require more input from the nurse; therefore, there's a need for more education on uses and implementation (Park, 2015).

Another trend is Genetics. Many scientists have discovered that significant diseases like heart diseases have secure genetic connections, and therefore, nurses need increased education on these connections for effective counseling of patients. This current trend helps in improving the diagnostic and treatment process efficiently (Tyczkowski et al., 2015).

Efforts to Expand the Current Scopes in Nursing Administration

The number of postgraduate nurses needs to be increased to improve more nursing research. According to Potter et al. (2016), the main obstacles for coming up with a solid basis for research in nursing are underfunding of nursing research projects since the funds provided by the required authorities are always less as compared to what is incurred in the field (McCormick, & Saba, 2015).

Another obstacle is creating a proper research-oriented environment for those who are nurse teachers and researchers, demonstration of new nursing science students so they could pursue careers in nursing research and finally establishing joint positions between clinics and research facilities. Efforts to deal with these obstacles may increase efficiency in the nursing sector (Park, 2015).

Tyczkowski et al. (2015) suggested that developing models that leave more room for users to participate in the decision-making process and evaluating in terms of an organization's culture and service results. Developing abilities and skills that allow users to take part in nursing research and assess their impact is also another deal that should be considered to make nursing more effective and efficient (Park, 2015).

Evaluating continuity of care models from patients at risk and identifying methods to quickly transfer data between professionals, nursing services, and agencies is a good show from the nursing sector if implemented with immediate effect. Therefore, the concerned authorities should embrace this for better functioning of the nursing sector (Potter et al., 2016).

Ensuring competency on emerging technology is vital since many organizations embrace and implement digital electronic systems in monitoring and documentation of the clinical patients (Park, 2015). This, therefore, will require the nurse professionals to get more education and research on the advancing technology (McCormick, & Saba, 2015).
