Question one:
It is important to note that revolution did not just occur, but was marked by some factors. Among these was the religious influence that was too strong to the extent that it could control the masses. The Catholic denomination had power to the magnitude of even determining who leads. They were involved in all issues affecting the society until the onset of Protestant revolution and reformation. The significant impact of the revolution to the Catholic was the destruction of churches that they had to rebuild. In addition to this, the church controlled politics shifted as they were deprived that mandate. To the Protestants, their number increased as they shifted a large group from the main Catholic Church. The division resulted in the rise of other smaller denominations that never existed. The fact that it came with freedom and democratic rights, other churches were allowed to be in existence.
Question two:
Napoleon rose to power because of his effort and the fact that the French government offered such opportunities. From a very tender age, he had a sense of enduring and responsibility because he came from a low-income family. Napoleon did exploit the progressive events that the French revolution had created and thus making him rise. The French abolished the old system that discriminated the poor and opened up talent schools that made that Napoleon identified his potential. By 1792, the revolution cleared all the senior generals leaving him the right one for the position. In the end, Napoleon brings the ideas of equality, liberty, and fraternity which were the initial aims of the revolution. This clearly identifies as someone who was passionate, was motivated to fight for the interest of the people and not himself, and earned him the name "the liberator."

Question three
The argument placed by Thomas Robert Malthus has only one basis, which is financial position of the couples. Other aspects influencing marriage such as culture and age of an individual are missing. Some factors cause population growth. Considering provision of better healthcare and enough food supply, the rates of births are likely to increase, as there is enough food to feed the rising population. In addition to this, the fact that hospitals are available and services are optimized, the numbers are likely to shoot. In away his notion may apply to the 1800's because by that time a lot were lacking. People used to struggle to produce food; there were no adequate health facilities, and the poverty rate was quite high. The solution to this was the simply creation of awareness on the need for reducing the population. In the 1800s, factors such as variability in methods of production, different levels of health services and education explain why there were inconsistency and differing records regarding population existed. It is, therefore, important to realize that arguments become weaker as the time progresses.
My Question
In relation to the quickening pace and demographic revolution, Robert recognizes that the global population were substantially influenced by several factors such as the food supply. In this sense, he mentions that the increase in food supply after the 1740 muffled the impacts of the Malthus’s “positive checks” and allowed the population growth. What were this “positive checks” and how do you think each of them worked to its function of influencing the population growth during the demographic revolution? Robert further argues that there were basically two ways in which food supply could be increased during this period. Do you agree with these assertions? What were the two ways in which food supply could be increased? In another instance, Robert recognizes that the rise in population and the changes in the availability of food at one particular time in the 18th century. This period was characterized by rapid industrialization. What were the effects of industrialization on the population growth and food supply in the subsequent years?
