Purpose of the Artifacts
The annotated bibliography artifact served several purposes. Another purpose for the annotated bibliography is also the option of utilizing it within a research document, which will inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of resources cited. For this artifact I gathered and researched (12) peer reviewed books and articles relevant to my Capstone Topic, providing a brief, but thorough description of authors theoretical approach on the topic.
The Action Research Study Report & Literature Review artifact served the purpose of educating me on how to utilize my skills to become a scholarly researcher to address and describe in documented form through the research principles (Introduction, Method, Results/Findings, and Discussion/Conclusion). A nine-page research paper was constructed with an introduction describing an issue for research (Improving and Motivating Students to Read). Using the research principle method, a collection of related authors on the issue were compared on similarities and differences in a Literature Review.
