Nevertheless, the study shows that one of the most critical disorders among patients with colorectal cancer is manipulating their body image (Khalilabad et al., 2020). Therefore, the exercise focuses on examining the effects of a self-care program based on the approach in nurturing the patients' body image with “colorectal cancer (Khalilabad et al., 2020).”

Ultimately, the researchers used the theory in their study by conducting a clinical trial test consisting of 2 groups. In this approach, it is evident that those allocated in the experiment section received sessions of 30 to 40 minutes at the health care center. In contrast, the approach enables nurses to aim at caring and nurturing every client by being aware of and respectful for their uniqueness (Erickson, 2017). Besides, the theory is believed to have drawn Maslow's hierarchy of needs concepts and Erickson's approach of psychological stages hence provides a link between them (Erickson, 2017). Therefore, the rate at which tasks concerning development are resolved explicitly depends on the satisfaction of human needs (Erickson, 2017).

Moreover, the integration of Maslow's and Erickson's approaches enhances nurses' understanding of how persons grow. For instance, Erickson (2017) explains the initial conflict every infant face when they are born as trust versus mistrust. In Maslow, a child's basic physical need is kept safe and secure; hence both theoretical concepts relate.

However, the Role and Re-Modeling theory addresses some intrinsic similarities and differences among persons. These similarities include being holistic, desire for basic needs, and cognitive phases. However, differences in persons are centered on “adaptation, stress, self-care, and self-care knowledge.”Elaborately, modeling is perceived as a process through which nurses tend to seek knowledge and understanding about a patient's model and then learn to appreciate its value and significance (YAZDI et al., 2019). However, role modeling is the process whereby nurses aim at facilitating and nurturing the individual towards attainment, maintenance, and promotion of health. Besides, the approach accepts the patient to be unconditional and then allow for unique interventions of planning. Succinctly, the theory exemplifies that the roles of nursing involve facilitating, nurturing, and providing unconditional acceptance (YAZDI et al., 2019). Therefore, the bedrock of nurses' actions is based on unconditional acceptance, facilitation, positive regarding, and individual's nurturing (YAZDI et al., 2019). The process of nursing in this theory is explicitly defined by the relationship the organization has with clients. Besides, a nurse will always engage himself or herself in an interpersonal relationship with a patient. At the first encounter with a patient, a nurse will intervene to listen and analyze data correctly before taking the next medication step. Also, the approach is mainly concerned with the perception of a client. Therefore, the concerns of patients normally preempt identified concerns of a nurse (YAZDI et al., 2019). Also, a nurse will be too concerned about the way a client feels, what he has been undergoing through as well as the duration client's illness have been. The nurse will therefore use his jargons to identify the kind of illness and medication he or she needs (YAZDI et al., 2019).

Moreover, a holistic response may impact a nurse's identified needs, which a patient may become unaware of. Again, it is only possible to establish trust and impact positively to a client's life if a particular person is attended to and listened to (Lemire, 2018). A client's world is often modeled when a nurse acquires crucial information from an individual and then performs an action. In this scenario, a nurse will gather a patient's views concerning how they feel, their expectations, and their ambitions (Lemire, 2018). Listening and discovering the client's issues received is the art of nursing, while understanding those issues within the theoretical framework is the science of nursing.
