I want you to know and understand that words cannot describe how uncomfortable and sad I am currently, knowing that you are sad, and to some level, you have given up on me. Notably, one of the worst torments is the knowledge that everything is my fault since I didn't listen. I don't often write such letters; however, there is a strong feeling inside that is telling me that it's the right thing to do. On the other hand, I am writing this since I don't have any means that I can make it clear and even communicate with you about the topic, that I am about to speak to you about. I hope this letter finds you well.
I take this opportunity to extend my sincere apologies for my uncalled-for behavior of rudely snubbing and irrationally not paying attention to your communication while we were having a conversation so that I amend our rapport that I regrettably damaged because of my irrational behavior. I recognize that what I did was wrong therefore, I take full responsibility for my actions. Because of my poor interpersonal and communication skills, I put our relationship in a hard place. I acted in a sensitive manner, and I understand that my behavior exasperated you. I have poor interpersonal and communication skills, and that was the reason why I could not pay attention to what you were saying.
Moreover, my lack of anger management skills heightened the situation farther such that I had a myopic view of the mistake at the moment. My lack of concentration to your communication was not only due to my poor interpersonal skills, having a distorted focus but also experiencing incongruent communication cues. I have taken time to improve on my verbal communication, anger, as well as my perception as these, contributed to rendering the communication process ineffective.
You are the closest friend and mentor that I have hence it's only prudent to refrain from any behavior, misdemeanor, or misconduct that can ruin our longstanding rapport. In light of my dedication to reviewing my challenges and improving on my non-verbal communication skills, I hope that you will consider being lenient enough to accept my heartfelt apology. I humbly take full responsibility for any emotional damages that you had to undergo because of my miserable misconduct, and I hope that my uncouth behaviors will not affect our longstanding friendship in any way. On contemplation, I realized that my egocentric nature blinded my attempt to focus on what you were trying to communicate to me, and therefore, I am apologetic for my unprecedented and from non-verbal cues.
I appreciate your comprehension and again am sincerely sorry for my uncalled-for misconduct, and I will not repeat that mistake. Our friendship is anchored on trustworthiness, empathy, flexibility and interpersonal problem sharing and I intend to safeguard these pillars that maintain our strong bond. I hereby promise not to let personal inconsistencies and weaknesses lead us through this dark tunnel again in the future. I have embraced this experience as a learning opportunity to improve on my personal development strategies. I comprehend that a strong relationship is founded on firm principles that apply to both of the parties to a relationship and not just a one-sided, one-way connection. The unsynchronized non-verbal cues are akin to a one-sided relationship that which is the opposite of what binds us together.
Kindly accept this letter as a sign of restitution for any emotional and physical damages that you have accrued as a result of my outlandish misconduct. I have made significant efforts to improve on my interpersonal, anger management, and communication skills such that I intend not to repeat the same mistake. If there is anything that I could do to help amend our rapport, please let me know, and I will gladly help out to make sure that our relationship is rock-solid. I am sincerely sorry, my friend and am looking forward to hearing from you.
You are sincere.
