Super Cuts Barber Shop (SCBS) is a start-up business in the United Kingdom that observes quality standards in service delivery and offers excellent consumer services. SCBS will serve the increasing population of consumers within London City with excellent hair services. Super Cuts Barber Shop will appeal to consumer values and lifestyles by keenly observing consumer expectations and what they exactly want at a particular time. Being located in London City, SCBS will be accessible to many customers living in the city. The shop shall be designed to provide a very conducive environment that customers will enjoy. Regulated temperatures will be attractive to customers as well as comfortable chairs. As SCBS seeks to offer the best services to customers for a good experience, it also guarantees 100% customer satisfaction.

Harpring et al. (2014) said that customers have been suffering from long waiting hours in the existing barbershops. Le (2018) argues that it is a big challenge for hairdressing customers because employees with overstretched schedules do not fully satisfy them. Super Cuts Barber Shop will offer high-quality services in the hairdressing sector with excellent cuts that different customers require. We will also use highly trained staff who will be offering services. Our extensive range of services in the hairdressing sector will outdo the existing service providers in the sector.

According to Thompson (2017), the basic requirements for entering the UK industry include registering with the Hairdressing Council, having business insurance, and a smoke-free premises certificate. Suppliers for barber materials are many in London and therefore lack the power to set terms and conditions. Consumers as well are plenty, and they do not have the power to set terms and conditions. SCBS will be a strong business that will make it difficult for others to imitate it. There are many barbers in the UK, and more competition comes from those who cut their hair at home, although such cases are rare. SCBS is innovative with great looks and a good feeling upon entering its premises, thus having a competitive advantage over our competitors.

Adeleke (2020) said that in barbershop business, critical success factors include providing high-quality haircut services, the shop's strategic location, and a conducive and attractive atmosphere for customers. Other factors that favor the business are attractive interior decorations, proper marketing strategies, regular staff training, good customer relations, and long term plans. My team is capable of using available barber resources to offer quality services to our customers. Continuous training of the staff will make them stay up-to-date with upcoming haircut styles and maintain quality standards for our large variety of customers at all times. Kalra, and Soberman (2010), sometimes marketing can be done poorly, but still, the business runs smoothly. However, our business plans to expand rapidly by doing very strong and wide marketing.

Since the shop the business is located within London city, it will be easy for us to fully decorate it attractively to attract customers and edge out our competitors. Marketing is done on social media platforms; thus, a wide range of potential customers will know about it. However, the business faces the risk of not meeting all customer expectations and poor marketing means, which may affect the business negatively. We are, however, planning to overturn these and make the best out of our business.

My team and I are aware of our competitors. Some of the key gaps in our team may include a poor connection with our competitors, and we plan to connect fully with them so that they do not influence the market negatively for us in terms of pricing. We also have a gap in delivering our services to homes of those who may not travel to our shop. We are planning to start offering our services even at doorsteps to reach as many people as possible.

Our business seems to be one of the best in London city as per our measures in place. Our assessment shows that it will be one of the largest in the next three years. We will be able to do haircuts to all kinds of customers from high profile celebrities to politicians to the low-class people in the streets of London. We have a running capital that will keep us operational even during low seasons. Adequate finance will help maintain our employees.

Barbershop business has its associated risks, and ours is not exceptional. Risks like investing personal money, using family time for business, and risking secure salary for a barbershop business. We are ready to take every imminent risk to expand and make our business the best in London.
