It impacts the way a nurse works since the nurse takes care of the mother not only in the childbearing period but also in her lifespan. For example, taking care of her antenatal clinics and treating her and the baby in case of illness (Marzalik et al., 2018).

Certified Mid-Wives

Certified midwives are non-nurse practitioners in midwifery who follow the same criteria as a CNM, CM and APR-Ns. They provide care during childbirth and provide the necessary information to the mother. For example, they guide on the best feeding method (Homer et al., 2019).
