Goldie film by Sam de Jong portrays Goldie's life as a teenager in New York and her efforts towards overcoming financial challenges. Goldie is 18 years old and views herself as a star because she has brims, looks, and moves with self-confidence across New York's street to showcase her talents (Sam de Jong). Goldie is a naive character with restless energy because she struggles to make life better. Therefore, Goldie portrays how women contribute towards the family and the society irrespective of challenges.

For example, from the film, Goldie is filled with excitement that replaces her anxiety, although she strives searching cape to dress during her adventures. She is determined to maintain her family and takes responsibility.
