Consultation for the Presentation
To develop a fully-fledged presentation, it will be important to consult widely through our program. This implies that I will have to undertake an exclusive review of our program mandates and service delivery charter. In particular, I will have to consult the local department of human resource management team. This team is fully-versed with the main activities that the program undertakes as it is responsible for the human resources that are required for the delivery of various aspects of services across the entire region.
In this regard, the interaction with this group will form the foundation for effective understanding of the roles and functions of our program and further drive it into a conclusive end. This team will provide the detailed explanation of the various human resource levels in the program implementation platform that would enhance a better understanding of the group service deliberation. Besides, it will also promote a better understanding of the size and scope of human resource team which will generate a better understanding of the ultimate role of the program for a better public understanding. Hence, the involvement of this team will be the foundation for the development of an informed presentation regarding the mandate and potential of the program.
Outline for the Information for Presentation
The community Option Program is basically an entity that is operated almost in every county that avails long term support, funds and services all eligible individuals. This information appertains to the main discourse of the program that individuals boasts of. Besides, the program also focuses on the diversion or relocation of individuals to other target segments such as nursing homes and other care organizations (Low & Brodaty, 2011). In essence, this group has a major focus on bridging the gap between individuals with special needs to their respective service offer destinations that would otherwise been very challenging to access. Indeed, the COP assists all eligible persons to acquire long-term supports they require to persist through community as opposed to an institution. The eligible groups encompass persons with disabilities or chronic illnesses in needs of long-term care particularly for the aged persons. This group also entails persons with physical disabilities, chronic mental illnesses, developmental disabilities and other forms of chemical dependencies. The financial base of the program is also used to pay individual service needed and further supports that are hardly covered by any other programs available to the target group or other governmental or non-governmental entities. This information will form the core of my presentation in the regional HACC forum.
In essence, the information that I will provide to the group during the regional forum will include: eligibility of the members that the program considers towards dispensation of its services; the assessment plan for eligibility of individuals to the plan and care delivery, main program resources, methods of application for inclusion as well as the parties to consider while seeking information about the program. This information will be the main consideration for the presentation that would facilitate a better understanding of the program by the community and the parties involved at the regional forum. The basis for this presentation will therefore provide an opportunity for the publication of the program amidst compelling need for public involvement in the program for effective service dispensation.
Printed Resources and Materials for the Presentation
In order to make a comprehensive presentation about our program, I will carry along, membership form with the detailed requirement for successful enrollment into the program. This process will constitute the basis for understanding membership and the specific requirements for individuals amidst prevailing claims of enrollment fees that does not apply in practice. Secondly, I will also carry some program pamphlets with contact lists for various regions for interested membership. This will provide a concrete mechanism for demonstrating the closeness of program to its target clients and ease the process of enrollment. Besides, this process will also clear some of the existing mysteries with regard to program enrollment and service dispensation.
Thirdly, I will carry the program rules and regulation for both internal and external clients. This includes the staff binding regulations and the clients codes of conduct for persistent or continued membership. This will ensure that prospective members are not only versed with the eligibility considerations but also the conditions necessary for sustained membership in the long-run which is perhaps the ultimate goal of every program of its kind. In addition, it will also be crucial to carry printed pamphlets indicating the services that are available based on the needs, resources and strengths of the individual members that allow individuals to live safely.
Such services includes: home modification, financial counseling, personal care as well as care management among others. This information will form an ideal source of impetus for individuals membership that would also reinstate the core objective of the program. In particular, the presence of these pamphlets will also demystify the essence of details in the presentation as they could also be effectively distributed to the group present in the forum for both present and future reference.
Feedback Generation Techniques for the Presentation
Feedback is an important source of analysis of effectiveness of the presentation. In this regard, it would be very important to collect feedback as the basis for understanding the achievement of the set target of the presentation as well as the achievement of the program goals and objectives. Essentially, communication entails exchange and flows of information between individuals or groups. As a result, feedback develops the basis for evaluation of effective exchanges and flow of such information and would therefore form the basis for understanding the effectiveness of my presentation (Georgievska, 2011). First, I will seek any comments or question after every bit of presented ideals such as the program eligibility and enrollment process. However, the intermittent responses will be isolated to few cases only in order to allow sufficient time for the entire presentation.
Secondly, I will also provide a mobile contact for inquiries and clarifications by members of the public present that would ensure that prospective inquiries are channeled through. This mobile contact will be manned by a team of colleagues accompanying me. The team will sample up some of the important reactions or commentaries for response towards the end of the presentation. Similarly, the rest of reactions will be subjected to further inquiry at the program coordination and implementation level after the forum.
Benefits from the Presentation
One of the ultimate benefits of the presentation will be the communication of the fundamental roles of the program and the objectives of the program in general. Indeed, the presentation will also provide the basis for generating important information that prospective members must consider (Georgievska, 2011). This presentation will also provide an opportunity for the enhancement of the program service dispensation based on the feedback generated from the presentation. The presentation will also provide a platform for the development of publicity of the program that will aid the enhanced delivery of its core mandates in future with increased membership and efficiency in the long-run.
