Colonizing mass is a good idea but is being done for the wrong reasons. Initially, it was a form of exploration, but currently, it is a show of might. Long ago when the whites were occupying America, they came along with their cultures. They did not recognize those of the natives. Instead of venturing into mars, they are in a space station that can hold life. Space and mars colonization lacks some legal backing making it far much risky.
