Finance, is among the entities that have embraced streaming analytics technology in its decision-making process. The entity is a branch of Yahoo!'s network and offers financial news, as well as data and commentary on stocks and financial reports. In this light, this paper seeks to discuss how Yahoo! Finance uses streaming analytics to track, interpret, display, and analyze data for optimal and real-time decision-making. The paper will also explore the current and future state of the technology.

Streaming analytics technology uses continuous queries to analyze and perform actions on real-time data. This is enabled by the use of streaming analytics technology to analyze and process data and give processed information that can be used to make decisions. The users can also understand risk and opportunity in real-time.

Today, streaming analytics technology has transformed not only the financial sector but also several other industries. Moreover, the technology will play a more significant role in these industries, moving into the future. The use of the technology for algorithmic operations is bound to rise, as well as its application for prescriptive purposes. Live Data Marts will also increase in prominence and Stream, Transform, and Load (STL) will become a big thing in the financial sector. Moreover, historical data will find more uses. As shown in the paper, streaming analytics technology has drastically transformed the financial industry. Yahoo! Finance is an example of entities that use the technology to analyze and process data to help users make informed decisions. Moreover, the paper has shown that the technology will have more uses in the future.
