The healthcare environment is changing at an exponential phase with a vast influence on the current technology. With the growth of new cutting-edge technology, the medical field is shifting its operations from manual patient diagnostic methods to technological advancement in almost every aspect ranging from care delivery, treatments, and diagnostics. In healthcare and medicine, digital technology is expected to transform most of the unsuitable healthcare systems to possible systems. The new technology is also expected to equalize the existing relationship between patients and medical professionals (El-Gayar et al., 2020). Cheap, fast, and more effective disease solutions are likely to be established with the influx of technology in the medical field. The paper focuses on disruptive forces in medical systems.
Most scholars suggest that technology can help the real battle against contagious diseases such as Ebola, AIDS, and Cancer, which will consequently translate to a healthier community with healthy individuals (Doraiswamy et al. 2020). With the current growth rate in the technology field, the healthcare system is slowly shaping up with growth in key technology fields such as nanotechnology, robotics, #D-printing, VR/AR, and artificial intelligence. With the existence of such fields, there is a needs to continually practice their application by familiarizing them with the latest technological development to enhance hospital systems. Healthcare givers must familiarize themselves with emerging technologies in the healthcare system for easy integration in the coming future (Gustavsson et al. 2020).
Essential diagnostic measures such as Immunotherapy, which are essential in providing therapeutic benefits by targeting the capabilities of the immune system, especially tumor and cancer diseases, are likely to transform cancer care. Virtual reality and augmented reality are forming the basis for future medication by supporting a vast number of fields ranging from patient perspective during a critical operation and surgeon consideration. Therefore, technology is likely to bring better promising treatment administration and diagnostic methods.
