Introduction
Strategic analysis is a vital tool for every business or organization management to identify areas that are doing well or need addressing. The strategic analysis also helps organizations identify both internal and external factors that have a direct or indirect impact on the organization's operations. Such frameworks as strategy map, porter's five forces, PEST, PESTLE, and SWOT analysis are among the most commonly used strategic analysis frameworks. The strategic initiatives aim to address Evolve Treatment Centers' needs and look forward to being considered for the next fiscal year.
Information continuity
Information continuity will play a pivotal role in position Evolve Treatment Center at a more competitive advantage in the mental health industry. However, to achieve this strategic initiative, the center needs to update its medical records with the state and national level health quality benchmarks. Therefore, Evolve Treatment Center needs to implement an up to date HER and enable performance monitoring systems at departmental and physician levels. This way, the center will be able to monitor and support the provision of more evidence-based care. Implementing an efficient HER will also enable the center to be better positioned to collaborate with other regional caregivers and develop a regional information exchange system that links providers in the mental health service area.
Care coordination and transitions: Toward greater accountability for total care of the patients
Mental health is more of an outpatient service industry, and thus Evolve Treatment Center needs to not only expand its comprehensive care management model but also redesign a more reliable care team that will meet the needs of the patients. Unfortunately, the limited structural and financial resources pose a challenge to meeting the needs of the in-patient population. Nonetheless, restricting the current care coordination model will have a considerable impact on the transition of the center to greater accountability of its total care. To implement this model, four key components have to be incorporated.
Case management- only patients with high risk for complications to be admitted. Conduct timely follow-ups, and optimize care management to 30-day reduce readmission.
Care systems – implement integrated clinical knowledge, data reporting, and change management EHR to establish a reliable link between clinical behavior and change.

Funding compensations- provide incentives and bonuses to care providers to motivate and participate in advanced medical homes. Evolve Treatment Center leadership needs to invest in harnessing a patient safety culture and incentives to foster a high-performance culture.
Peer-review and teamwork for high-value care
High performance and a result orient culture are essential to achieve the organizational goals. Promote interdisciplinary service lines to plan, budget, and assess each other's performance to develop a team-oriented transformation of the organization's culture. This interdisciplinary model will promote the achievement of higher levels of performance and give it a competitive advantage in the marketplace and attract and retain physicians and ensure reliable performance in both acute and chronic care procedures.
Continuous innovation
The health care industry is one of the highly competitive industries, and therefore, to remain relevant, continuous innovation is a critical strategic initiative for Evolve Treatment Center. The center's leadership has an active role to play in simultaneously improving the quality, satisfaction, and efficiency of its patients not only by redesigning and reengineering how care is delivered, but also trying not to make the staff work harder the traditional way. Technological integration is one of the primary initiatives the center can take towards implementing a continuous innovative culture.
Mental health is a significant concern and among the top health risks facing young adults. However, the lack of reliable information through which this population can be educated is the most significant barrier to promoting public wellness and mental health. Thus, as the center seeks to improve in service delivery, educating the public through available technology such as social media will play a pivotal role in achieving the organization's mission.
Easy access to appropriate care
Develop a website or app that will mobilize the masses to provide their information and, if possible, share their medical records, which can be used by the center to track and monitor the health behaviors of the public. Also, the public will have a platform where they can share, consult, and possibly be referred to more specialized care at minimal to no cost.
Health care cost is one of the major problems facing the United States health care system. And this problem has trickled down to individual facilities. The high cost of manufactured drugs and have made it a challenge for health care providers to reduce the cost of their services to a more pocket-friendly price for the public. However, a federal initiative such as the Medicaid and Medicare have played a significant role to reduce health care cost and make it more affordable through such legislations as the ACA.
Recognition of performance
Achieve the effective implementation of such vulnerable assessment will only if the federal and local agencies collaborate. Implement performance and quality assessment procedures to guide the center in identify areas of excellence and areas needing improvement.
