Many states entitle their citizens to healthcare coverage as respect to humanity requires that no individual refrain from seeking medical attention, and no one suffers financial adversity due to seeking medical care. However, health policies have been implemented, and their failures and successes have had a beneficial impact on the health development policy in our country. For instance, in France, eye care and dental services tend to be covered under supplementary insurance that is health care, and drugs lie outside the existing public system (Brown, 2003). As a result, there exist rising costs, which renders the system unaffordable to the population. It implies a limit in the medical coverage of the citizens. For the united Nations, 85% of the citizens are entitled to medical coverage as most are funded by private employers (Meade, Drake & Snyderman, 2016). Conflict tends to be predominant between policymakers in many states over the terms of payment as negotiation persists with health insurance institutions or the state. The factor has benefited the Us health development as it has coped politically by instituting a pattern of provider and payer relations as the public program shifted from a retrospective payment mode to a prospective payment model.

Funding health policies exist in many nations, and the national government is responsible for financing universal coverage. For example, Germany tends to rely on social insurance contributions, which carries a political and economic burden in the long run(Berman, 2019). The United States relies on any funding source as the policy is replete of waste that can be squeezed to yield enough funding to rechannel resources, thereby ensuring that it helps with the coverage of the uninsured citizen and in payment of the providers. Indeed the success and failures of the health policies of other nations have benefited our country since lessons are derived and relevant measures implemented on ways to improve and develop the health system.
