From the Bible, it is said that Hell was created by God. Lucifer and the mischievous angels who dissented against God were sent there (Matthew 25:41). Also, the place for the human population that does not follow the teachings of God is Hell. Both the humanity and the angelic beings are in hell because of sin (Romans 6:23). According to Psalms 18:30, God is morally perfect and completely righteous. Always, he does what is right, and there is no obscurity or the minutest fleck of deficiency (1 John 1:5).

The standard bar for which is wrong, moral and right is God himself. Human beings would have had nothing to measure themselves against were it not God being the standard measure of perfection. Anything that fails sort of perfection according to God is aberrant, and therefore every person that has ever lived on the surface of the earth has committed sin since the fall of Adam from grace (Romans 3:23).

The whole human race encompasses a sinful disposition as a result of the sins committed by Adam (Romans 5:12). According to Psalms 7:11, God is just when he sends people to Hell for breaking His laws. A perfect analogy is that of any just court of law; the judge convicts a person found guilty of an offence. Some sins are considered mortal and another grave. Mortal sins involve the radical rejection of Gods love (Catechism, No. 1845). A person faces a radical break with God at the time of his death if he dies in the state of moral sin and this is what the hell is all about. According to Pope John Paul II, hell is not a penance imposed superficially by God but the progression of the premises previously set by the human beings in this life. In other words, Hell proceeds the very nature of the mortal sin (Wandel, 2015). God does not send people to Hell, but it is something that they choose for themselves.

In any sense, the conception of Hell provides connotation to our existence (Conway, 2013). It depicts that the ethical choices that a person makes each day hold eternal significance and that the behavior has a significant consequence that lasts to an eternity of which God personally takes the choices people make seriously. The dogma of Hell has significant social impact. If there were not to be a principle of the ultimate justice, the peoples sagacity of ethical obligation would dissolve, and the social bonds were broken. Repeatedly, Jesus issued warnings that if we deviate from the Godly ways in this existence, eternally, people will be estranged from God. Jesus further depicted that the reward of sin is death. According to Romans 6:23, Paul postulates that the endowment of God is the eternal existence of the Lord Jesus.
