Apart from the risk of women engaging in smoking habits, there are those women who get exposed to smoke indirectly by sitting next to those smoking. It has been found that smoke may cause health issues such as breathing problems and asthma among others. It is also important to note that mothers exposed to smoke deliver children who get aggressive as early as the age of 5 years as compared to other kids. Pregnant women take antidepressants that in most cases can cause lasting side effects to the unborn fetus in the future. The antidepressants have been reported that they can cause autism, birth defects, miscarriage among others. Mothers must also avoid environment in which the air is polluted.
