There are several things that pregnant women do while interacting with factors in their surrounding environment. Personally, I have seen mothers drinking alcoholic beverages, do exercise, smoking, eating balanced while others eat unbalanced diet within the society we live in. Some do it as a routine while other do these activities occasionally. Most of these women are seen engaging certain teratogens which are harmful to their health and that of the baby too. Some of these unacceptable activities that they engage in include habits like drinking alcohol, eating unpasteurized cheese and worst of all smoking. These activities are bad for the development and biological growth of the baby. Another important teratogen that need to be addressed is the fact that women take excess coffee without moderation. It has been discovered that too much caffeine maybe harmful to the health of the fetus.
Apart from the risk of women engaging in smoking habits, there are those women who get exposed to smoke indirectly by sitting next to those smoking. It has been found that smoke may cause health issues such as breathing problems and asthma among others. It is also important to note that mothers exposed to smoke deliver children who get aggressive as early as the age of 5 years as compared to other kids. Pregnant women take antidepressants that in most cases can cause lasting side effects to the unborn fetus in the future. The antidepressants have been reported that they can cause autism, birth defects, miscarriage among others. Mothers must also avoid environment in which the air is polluted. Breathing in air that is not clean can cause a baby to be born while underweight. A condition that is harmful for a babys health.
Babysitting is constituted with steps in which a child or a group of children are taken care of and nurtured in order to be successful individuals in future. The providers of these services in the babysitting institutions must be well trained on handling babies and first aid. Babies are made to sleep on environment that is clean and free of any disease attack. The environment is expected to be conducive to support the survival of the newborns without any interruptions. Technology is very important in babysitting management. Records of all the babies in the institution can be stored and kept for future reference. Their movements and various developments are monitored using technology hence help monitoring of their development. In their younger stages, the babies are introduced to technology hence growing up embracing and being positive in the field of technology. Through technology, the babies can grow up maintaining communication and interacting with the rest of the world.
There are several home remedies that are used in order to cure young a babies and they include singing songs to them, throwing them high in the air, having their mothers breast feed them and buying them toys for them to play. These have always been ways to soothe babies and stop them from crying in the home context. Among the examples I have listed, all works at times but may bounce back and stop working. The most assured one is always the mother breastfeeding the child when he or she starts crying. To conclude, among all the steps of babysitting, none is a waste of money as they help in the growth and full development of babies.
