Introduction
The Travelodge was launched in the year 1985 in Barton, England. The hotel, over the past decades, has undergone some changes and has become the largest independent hotel brand with over 570 hotels across major countries and cities like London and Cardiff. The Travelodge offers hotel services to guests who are mostly travellers and business individuals. Travelodge is equipped with king-size beds, individual pocket springs to make the clients more comfortable. The rooms contain tea making facilities such as mugs, water caps, sweeteners, and tea bags.

The marketing environment refers to the combination of both internal and external environments that affect a company`s ability to build up a relationship and be able to serve its clients effectively (Ergashev, & Berdiev, 2020). In the marketing environment, it comprises both external and internal environments.
Internal Environments
The internal environment refers to the company`s internal specifics. The internal specifics include; workers, machines used in the business place, and materials (Ergashev, & Berdiev, 2020). The internal factors include the following;
Systems
The Travelodge offers its clients excellent facilities that include good rooms (Ergashev, & Berdiev, 2020). The facilities are equipped with offering the clients with quality control and excellent customer care service.
Structure
Travelodge Hotel is a big company (Ergashev, & Berdiev, 2020). Thus, in order for it to maintain effective monitoring of its hotels, the Travelodge maintains a hierarchical structure.
Style
It refers to the approach that the hotel management uses to manage its employees effectively and to train them appropriately (Ergashev, & Berdiev, 2020). The company conducts workshops to aid in nurturing of the employee`s skills.
Staffs
Travelodge employees’ managers to monitor their employees (Ergashev, & Berdiev, 2020). Thus, it makes it unnecessary for the company to depend on Human Resource Management to monitor their staffs.
Strategies
The Travelodge aims at differentiating its services. It does this by offering quality services to its clients (Ergashev, & Berdiev, 2020). In order to achieve this, the company aims at classifying its system based on the target audience, positions, and status.
External Environment
In the external environment, it is subdivided further into two components, which include micro and macro environments. The micro component consists of factors such as; distribution, promotion with production (Ergashev, & Berdiev, 2020). The macro components stand for a broader environment, which entails components such as economic, social dynamics, technological factors, and others.
Economic Aspects
The economic status of both national and international status affects the growth of the Travelodge hotel (Ergashev, & Berdiev, 2020). The decline in the global economy, has led to Travelodge incurring significant losses, thus preventing it from expanding its grounds.
Social Dynamics
The social norms of the regions where the Travelodge has built its business affect the company (Ergashev, & Berdiev, 2020). The evolving patterns of the client`s behavior and local norms have a huge impact on Travelodge`s business.
Technological Factors
The United Kingdom is a technologically advanced nation (Ergashev, & Berdiev, 2020). The Travelodge Hotel has embraced the use of technology; for example, the use of online booking systems to run its businesses.
