Various chronic conditions affect the human body. High blood pressure is one of the numerous chronic diseases that attenuates a person's immunity and exposes the body to myriad healthcare weaknesses, including a possible heart attack. High blood pressure is when blood moves too forcibly in the arterial walls (Go, Bauman, King, Fonarow, Lawrence, Williams & Sanchez, 2014). The condition is treatable after adequate medical diagnoses to establish its precise emanation point. Typically, it does not manifest any symptoms; thus, it is one of the many silent killer maladies. It can last for many years or even a lifetime. Owing to its prevalence and severity, the condition is diagnosable without subject a patient to numerous and intrusive medical lab tests. Despite its fatalism, it is treatable through self-medication and diuretics.
High blood pressure contributes to decreased quality of life by affecting a patient's daily work life or day-to-day activities. Patients must regularly visit medical facilities for checkups and treatments. Regular hospital visits interfere with a person`s productivity since he/she is limited to a restricted diet (Dennison-Himmelfarb, Handler, Lackland, LeFevre, MacKenzie, Ogedegbe & Wright 2014). It is a sport that works the body for it entails constant movement and occasionally jumping into the air to hit a ball; as such, it contributes to weight loss drastically. Physical activities minimize the chances of the condition progressing to full-blown hypertension.
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OL) is one of the most common skeletal system conditions in children (Forlino & Marini, 2016). The sickness is characterized by fragile bones, loose ligaments and weak muscles. Bone problems associated with this condition include bow legs, joint complications, scoliosis and a barrel chest. Recreation interventions assist in improving the quality of life of a patient suffering from osteogenesis imperfecta since these interventions help build cardiovascular fitness, control weight, and gain maximum bone density. Recreation intervention tailored to these kids must also consider parents' safety when engaging in these activities and follow a certified exercise program. Also, it is never late to begin recreation activities, and adults and older children should start participating in regular physical exercises to live healthy lives.
