Introduction
Quantitative research focuses on many people during the study compared to qualitative research, which generally concentrates on a small group of people by dealing with these people physically. When a researcher uses qualitative research to aid his/her research, they are allowed to visit the target population physically, which enables them to get every individual's perspective on the matter at hand. According to Houser, qualitative research helps understand the meaning and human experience of a discussed phenomenon. Due to this, it makes qualitative research more accurate to quantitative analysis because the researcher can observe the target population and understand if the information provided is valid or not.
Quantitative research, on the other hand, helps the researcher obtain more data as compared to qualitative research because, during quantitative analysis, a researcher can distribute questionnaires to the target population without meeting physically. This can be through email or using other social media platforms (Rutberg & Bouikidis, 2018). When one uses qualitative research, he/she will understand reasons, what motivates others to do something, different opinions, and some of the trends that are behind the quantitative data obtained using quantitative research.
Study Design
The most exciting study design in this paper was a quasi-experimental design. Since this is the most common design used in nursing studies, it can help solve many of the nursing problems because many nursing students and researchers are familiar with it, and they use it freely. This study design is essential to solving nursing problems because it adds some information on the experimental study design, making it more accurate and easy to understand. This study design is also essential because it does not assign subjects randomly to different groups. Due to this, every group is allowed to focus on the task at hand.
Conclusion
Qualitative research design is the type of research that I will use for this case. This is because this type of research allows the researcher to get quality information for the study. This information is valid and accurate, which helps the researcher to understand the topic being discussed fully. I will use this type of research because it helps the researcher get accurate data. The design suitable for this study is the quasi-experimental design because of its attribute of using convenience sampling, which allows the researcher to get accurate data. Another reason for using this design is because it is standard, which means many nurses are familiar with it.
