Strength exercises also increase the metabolic rate of the body which means the excess fats will keep on burning even when the body is at rest. The metabolic rate will increase, and more and more fats will be exhumed from the body hence reducing obesity.

In addition, strength exercises will give the body the strength to keep on working out. As a result, more calories will be burnt during the exercise reducing the excess weight.

Strength exercises will also reduce back pains since the activities that take place during the exercise increases the body strength and improve the muscle functions especially around the spine area (Ten Hoor et al., 2018).
