Numerous educational experiences of addiction exist. I have learned a lot from my personal experience of addiction. Addiction itself has numerous feelings like guilt, fear, helplessness, depression, and anger. These feelings make a habit of growing as they make things even worse. In the context of professional experience, I have learned a lot about addiction that generalized and gave me insight into the topic. Many concepts have been learned from the professional experience of addiction. Some of those aspects are symptoms of addiction, misuse, and withdrawal. The definition of the term addiction is essential to understanding it. It is defined as a combination of the brain's complex condition or a brain disease that results from substance abuse. The philosophy response of addiction focusses on its treatment and intervention. Numerous ways of treating addiction exist that would help those victims of substance abuse. There are behavioral therapy and medications that would or can be used to treat addiction. Intervention is more of treatment, a treatment that would treat that brain disease. The essay broadly analyzes addiction's educational and professional experience by discussing personal challenges, biasness, and incorporation of humanities.
The definition of addiction has been mentioned before. Such part would deal with challenges from a personal experience of addiction. It would be essential to note some of the challenges that need to be considered when working with an addicted person. These issues or challenges are developing new coping strategies, addressing trauma and shame, and building a new relationship with other people (Kudryavtseva, 2020). These are the challenging moment that these persons who are addicted pass through in the recovery stage. In addressing trauma, it is a challenge for addicted people to manage trauma without alcohol. In the context of bias, I feel attention bias should be considered when working with addicted persons.
The class would assist me in advancing knowledge about addiction in numerous ways that would be helpful. One of the ways would be prevention and intervention measures that are crucial to managing addiction. It would enable me to understand the influence that peer pressure creates and how that will prevent addiction. Interventions would be applicable, too, as it would help in the recovery phase. The application of humanics philosophy would be essential and could be through calls for education, call for the whole person, and leadership body.
Such a class would advance my professional promotion by exposing me to direct experiences or what is real. There would be a lot to accumulate that will facilitate the professional experience. A wide field of knowledge is readily available in this class, and it would promote an individual's educational and professional experience. There is a critical aspect of addiction I would like to know about it.
The element is the aggressiveness behavior of these victims. Loss of self-control and paranoia are what I consider challenges related to substance abuse (Stulac et al., 2020). In the case of treatment, trauma, and the ability to gather new friends could be another challenge. The same would happen at the intervention level and recovery phase. The existing condition of paranoia could be another reason for a challenge that may interfere.
In conclusion, addiction is defined as a complex brain disease that is elicited by substance abuse. Philosophy of response focuses on treatment and intervention used to manage those patients or people who are addicted. The class would advance my knowledge of education on addiction as it is the basis of exposure. The same would develop or increase their opportunities for professional development. There are lots of directions that would gather knowledge to understand the professional experience of addiction.
