Laura's Conflicting Situation
In Laura's case, she should be willing to sacrifice her day off the request and choose another time as long as her supervisor is ready to flex time and allow her to leave the office as soon as she has completed her task for the said date initially chosen. It is a matter of conflict-solving and trying to solve their problem (Saeed et al.,2014). Thus, a compromising style of conflict resolution should be used by Laura and Tara. Both of them have to bend a little for them to be able to attain their objectives. This style of conflict resolution requires both Tara and Laura to give in one thing they want. However, it is time-consuming and can only be used by people with skills, and it is associated with fewer problems. Laura should also apply the accommodating style of solving the conflict by understanding the size of the workload that has increased on the job. Hence, accommodating the situation will ensure that she postpones her day off to serve in the work area.

In this case, a collaborating style of conflict resolution should be applied to Latisha in solving the conflict between Mary and Alyssa. A collaborative style of solving will help ensure that the two parties Mary and Alyssa, share a joint understanding effort about the problem concerning sharing Mary's personal life with the public. Mary should have the accommodating style of solving the issue between her and Alyssa. Since they are workmates, they should maintain an excellent relationship for the sake of the job. Their disagreement was only based on rumors and not facts because Mary was unsure what Alyssa had said.
Mario, a front-line employee, is a packing company.
This will require the application of collaboration style in solving the challenge facing Mario and the work situation (Labrague et al., 2018). Though the queue in the workplace is long, there is an urgent need for Mario to visit their home since their children are unwell and their babysitter is unavailable. In such a situation, both the supervisor and Mario should agree on how to settle the problem. This will involve a shared understanding about what Mario should decide first, or the supervisor should come in the position for Mario to release him to check on the children. Collaborative conflict-solving skills will ensure the enhancement of concessions.
