Through the Community Based Policies, it aids in improving the relationship between the Criminal Justice Agencies and the community members by building trust and partnership between the two parties (Sedgwick et al., 2020). Through this policy aids in reducing police brutality and therefore build trust, therefore making it easier for the community members to willingly engage with law enforcers by providing them with vital information regarding the lawbreakers in the society (Atkinson, 2018). Also, community-based policing makes the police become a part of the community, and this makes it easier for both parties to work together in setting goals and priorities in dealing with disorders and an increase in crime rates in the community (Sedgwick et al., 2020). With the relationship built between parties, it will make it easier for one to manage the underlying issues such as cases of corruption in the judicial systems (Atkinson, 2018). It will also aid in eradicating the use of decentralized systems in the police force, which isolates the law enforcers from the communities, thus making it harder for the police officers to eradicate the issue of increased crime rates within the society.

The Community Based Policy allows partnership between the Criminal Justice Systems and the government. It will allow the government, together with the community, to effectively balance the budget, which is used to allocate resources to various departments such as those for law enforcers (Weaver & Geller, 2019). By doing so, it will make sure that law enforcers, together with the criminal justice systems, are fully capable of battling crime and injustices in the given community. With enough resources, it will enable the community together with the Criminal Justice System to effectively manage the ever-changing society that is which faces challenges such as increased violence and gang activities (Weaver & Geller, 2019). With the partnership between the two parties, it will allow the community, together with the criminal justice systems, to form various interventions to fight against crimes and also be able to build a stronger community together in which it will not allow any form of violence or disorder to thrive.

Conclusion

The community-based policy has become a popular concept in ensuring that the relationship between the communities and the criminal justice systems is enhanced, and therefore, it can easily benefit the locals. When both parties work together, it will aid in ensuring that the increasing rate of crime is reduced and that fear that may arise due to the alarming rate of violence is eradicated.
